Geneva, Switzerland – On September 16th, the International Conference on Electricity and Renewable Energy was held in Geneva, Switzerland. The conference focused on topics including wind energy technology, photovoltaic system technology, batteries and battery energy storage systems (BESS). It received an enthusiastic response and active participation from many international experts and scholars, with representatives from various international organizations and industry associations in attendance.
In her opening remarks, the Secretary General of the European Association for Storage of Energy shared industry development trends and emphasized the conference’s importance in promoting global renewable energy growth. She mentioned that the energy transformation requires education, research, and multi-stakeholder participation. Innovation is also essential in advancing energy transformation, while balancing economic development and environmental protection.
After rounds of review, the conference ultimately published 210 conference papers on renewable power generation. Attendees engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions across various topics, collectively embracing new opportunities in renewable power generation.
