The Hague, Netherlands – February 12, 2025
The European Association of Energy Storage Trade(EAEST) actively participated in the Solar Future Congress held at the Louwman Museum. The event convened global solar energy experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to shape the future of the Dutch solar sector, with a focus on technological innovation, policy development, and cross-sector collaboration.
The congress launched The National Solar Trend Report 2025, which analyzed opportunities and challenges in the Dutch solar market. Presentations moderated by Harm Edens featured insights from TNO, Delft University of Technology, the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth, and other leading experts. Discussions emphasized advancements in high-efficiency photovoltaics, energy storage systems, and green financing mechanisms.
The congress reinforced EAEST’s role as a catalyst for international clean energy cooperation. The Secretary-General of EAEST, Lily Q., attended the event and remarked:
“This platform offered critical insights for knowledge exchange. We aim to leverage Dutch-European partnerships to accelerate solar and energy storage adoption, and support the EU’s carbon neutrality goals.”
Moving forward, EAEST will prioritize policy advocacy, global standard-setting, and multi-stakeholder partnerships to drive sustainable energy solutions.
