On June 20, 2023, the offline business exchange meeting between Chinese and European energy storage enterprises, initiated by EAEST, was successfully held at the King Willem II Stadium in Tilburg, Netherlands. Representatives from China and the Netherlands engaged in discussions on strengthening industrial cooperation, particularly in the areas of new energy, especially photovoltaics and energy storage.
The event was attended by Eelko Brinkhoff, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Agency of the North Brabant Province in the Netherlands, Jin Yuan, Commercial Counselor at the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands, Marius Koops, International Development Advisor at the Enterprise Development Agency of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Joost de Laat, Asian Affairs Advisor to the North Brabant Provincial Government in the Netherlands, Li Zhenhua, Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Trade Representative Office in the Netherlands, and Pan Zhi, Secretary-General of the Association of Chinese Enterprises in the Netherlands. Over 90 representatives from Chinese and Dutch enterprises participated in the event.
Representatives from more than 60 Chinese new energy companies in the photovoltaic and energy storage sectors shared their experiences in the development of the new energy industry.
The successful hosting of the exchange meeting fully demonstrated the vision of China-Europe cooperation and provided opportunities and platforms for global research, promotion, and market expansion of energy storage technology.
